As some of you may have seen on out Twitter or Discord, we're developing a new game for Worldplay 2020 codenamed "Project Wheelhouse" about a college student named Dina who must help her hopeless uncle Elias complete his taxes. Playing from alternating points of view, you'll have to navigate the pair through the mess of papers and emotions to get the job done and the forms submitted to the CRA on time.
Excited to be doing taxes in November?
A fully playable version of the game sans a bit of spit and polish will be released during the festival for all to play. We'll post the link when it's ready.
Our previous game, Sense of Harmony: A Prelude, is still in the running for the 2020 Interactive Fiction Competition. You can check it out for free, along with about 100 other games in the contest, and rank them as a judge! You only need to play and review five games for your votes to count, but there's certainly still time to play a lot more as voting does not close until the November 29th.
It's been about a month now since we finished our last discussion game, Bioshock, so we're ready to start anew. This time, we will be playing Thief: The Dark Project. The first discussion will be held November 14th at 2pm PST/5pm EST on our Discord server. We'll just be playing the opening tutorial and then playing levels weekly from there. If you're interested, join us!
